Gregory Graves, age 68, Passed away on March 13, 2024, following complications resulting from a construction accident in 2018. He was born in the Bronx, NYC on March 18, 1956, to parents, Lovely Electa Robinson and James Graves. Gregory was a proud alumnus of PS 183 and South Shore High School. He inherited his father's exceptional skills in construction and carpentry, mastering the craft alongside his lifelong friend, Locksley Burke.

Together with his beloved wife, Cassandra, Gregory co-founded Tri Craft Installations, Inc., a company renowned for its high-end interior construction projects. He later served as a construction manager at O'Donoghue Construction Company, leading significant renovations of New York City's churches and schools, including the cherished Abyssinian Baptist Church santuary.

Gregory's life was rich with love and music. He met Cassandra in 1981, and they wed in October, 1987, in New York, blending their family with three children; Reginald Thomas (Cassandra's son), Tiffany Graves (Gregory's daughter), and Dominique. A talented bass player, Gregory also led the ban Unity of Soul and had a passion for his unique bright green Bricklin car. His commitment to his community shone brightly at Abyssinian Baptist Church, where he founded AbyTech, propelling the church into the digital age and mentoring future tech professionals.

Gregory leaves behind a loving family; his wife, Cassandra; children, Reginald Thomas and his wife, April, Tiffany Graves, and Dominique Graves-Gill; grandchildren, Quesette Gill, Jonathan Gill, Jr., Noble, Andreu, Jordan, and Mia Faye Thomas; brother, Dirk Graves; sister, Francina Wilson and her husband, James, Sr.; brother-in-law Daryl Harris; elder aunts and uncles, Bessie and Lennox Hinds, Cosie Robinson; cousins, Juanita Graves, Wanda Graves Meeking; godchild, Monique Jenkins; and a host of other relatives and friends. Gregory was a cherished husband, father, brother, son, and friend. He will be remembered for his honor, dedication, and love.
